WCCC Youth Basketball - Registration

HERE WE GO AGAIN !!!!

Our 31th year of West Central basketball is about to begin.  We expect yet another great year with a full complement of teams.  Returning players may register by mail by returning the attached registration form(s), along with the appropriate fee, to the league at: WCCC Youth Basketball League, P.O. Box 247, Pfafftown, NC 27040.  Forms received by September 27, 2008 will be given preference for available playing slots.  Registration for new players and those who do not register by mail will be held at the West Central Community Center, 6130 Yadkinville Road, Pfafftown on the following dates:

Sunday, September 28, 2008 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
Sunday , October 5, 2008 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm

All players in all divisions will be required to try out. No Exceptions. Tryouts will be held in accordance with the tryout schedule.  if you can't make these dates please advise us at registration. Make up times will be made available later.

The divisions will be structured as follows:

Mini-Mite (Boys and Girls) 6 - 7
Mite (Boys and Girls) 8 - 9
Junior Midget (Boys) 10
Midget (Boys) 11 - 12
Junior (Boys) 13 - 15
Midget Girls (Girls only) 10 - 12 *
Junior Girls (Girls only) 12 - 15 *
  • 12s will be assigned to a division based on skills assessment
  • At the league's discretion, 8s may play down pending slot availability / skill level

Registration fees for 2008 are:
$100.00 for the first child
$75.00 for the second child
$50.00 for the third & additional children
New players must present a copy of their birth certificate at registration for verification of age.
Team Game Shirts are furnished as part of the registration fee.  STANDARD WCCC SHORTS ARE REQUIRED FOR GAMES and will be on sale for $10/pair at registration.
The league is a totally volunteer run organization and to survive must have new adults who are willing to serve on the Board of Directors or in other capacities.  Please support the board by indicating your willingness to serve in the appropriate area on the returning player registration form. This is not a program of the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools.
